1.1 Be considerate and respectful.

1.2 Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech.

1.3 Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow attendees. Alert conference organizers if you notice a dangerous situation or someone in distress.

1.4 Children must be accompanied at all times by an actively registered adult holding a convention badge or a Twist & Shout-issued ID in convention areas.

2.1 Unacceptable behavior includes: intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory or demeaning conduct by any attendees of Twist & Shout and related events like the after hours socializing parties.

2.2 Harassment includes: offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, disability; deliberate intimidation, stalking or following; harassing photography or recording; sustained disruption of talks or other events; inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

2.3 Physical, written, verbal or other abuse, intimidation, threats, annoyance, harassment, stalking, pushing, shoving or use of any physical force whatsoever against any person, which in any way creates a disturbance that is disruptive or dangerous, or creates anxiety in a person.

2.4 Please drink alcohol responsibly.

2.5 Possession or use of any illegal substance. Twist & Shout Team does not condone the use or abuse of illegal substances anywhere in the venue.

2.6 Smoking and vaping is not permitted in any areas other than those outside areas designated by the hotel

2.7 Assembling for the purpose of, or resulting in, disturbing the peace, or committing any unlawful act or engaging in any offensive behavior.

2.8 Failure to obey any rules or regulations of the hotel.

3.1 Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated.

3.2 Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately.

3.3 If a participant engages in unacceptable behavior, the Twist & Shout Team may take any action they deem appropriate, up to and including expulsion from the event without warning or refund.

3.4 Unaccompanied children, or those found without their guardians, may result in both being asked to leave the convention. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees at Twist & Shout, every child aged 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian with convention registration to gain classroom and jamroom admission.

4.1 If you are subjected to unacceptable behavior, notice that someone else is being subjected to unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns during the event, please notify a member of the Twist & Shout Team as soon as possible. All reports will remain completely confidential.

4.2 The Twist & Shout Team will be available to help participants contact local law enforcement or to otherwise assist those experiencing unacceptable behavior to feel safe for the duration of the bash. You can report unacceptable behavior to any member of the Team or you may email Lorinda@contsales.com

5.1 We reserve the right to modify or update this Code of Conduct at any time without prior notice.

5.2 Any changes to these Code of Conduct will be effective immediately upon posting on the Twist & Shout website.

Child Registrations have access to the Jam Room 6am - 11pm

7.1  No filming in classrooms or main stage events. Permission may be required of the producer for filming in the jam room. Film yourself and your own group as you like. Do not film anyone else without their permission.

7.2  Photographs and video will be taken throughout Twist & Shout and may appear in our print, online, and social media to celebrate and promote the convention. By attending, you grant permission for your image and likeness to appear in these materials without compensation or further approval. If you prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please let us know at the registration desk so we can try to accommodate you.

7.3  Photo and Video Release - As a condition for attending Twist & Shout, I agree to the following:
- I grant Twist & Shout and the organizers, staff, and authorized representatives the irrevocable right to photograph, film, and record my image, likeness, voice, and name during the convention.
- I grant Twist & Shout the perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, edit, publish, display, and distribute these photographs, video, and recordings, in whole or in part, in any media now known or later developed, including print, online, and social media, for promotional, archival, educational, and commercial purposes related to the convention.
- I understand that I will receive no compensation for this use, that Twist & Shout is under no obligation to use any material, and that all photographs, video, and recordings remain the property of Twist & Shout.
- I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished material, and I release Twist & Shout from any claims arising from the authorized use, including claims for invasion of privacy, right of publicity, defamation, or false light.
- I confirm that I am at least 18 years of age, that I have read and understood this release, and that I am agreeing to it voluntarily.

7.4  Minor Photo and Video Consent - As the parent or legal guardian of the minor and as a condition of the minor attending Twist & Shout guardian agrees on the minors behalf:
- Twist & Shout and its organizers, staff, and authorized representatives may photograph, film, and record the minor's image, likeness, and voice during the convention, and may use, reproduce, edit, publish, display, and distribute these materials perpetually, worldwide, and royalty-free, in any media now known or later developed, including print, online, and social media, for promotional, archival, and educational purposes related to the convention.
- The minor will receive no compensation, Twist & Shout is under no obligation to use any material, and all materials remain its property. I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished material and release Twist & Shout from any claims arising from the authorized use, including invasion of privacy, right of publicity, defamation, or false light.
