The Best Balloon Entertainer, Artist and Twister's Convention is coming to the great southwest, Phoenix/Tempe Arizona! This is your chance to meet your "Balloon Heroes", legends in the industry, up-and-coming new talent, and of course see all your twisting friends from around the world. Twist & Shout is the only place to find all the best instructors in one place and focusing only on balloons. Here you'll also find the best convention attendees, friendly, helpful, always willing to jam and teach each other. We offer you access to Balloon manufacturers' Representatives who have samples you can play with and who are willing to answer questions as well as balloon supply vendors carrying all the latest products from aprons to videos, pumps to balloon clothing.
Whether you want to learn new twists and sculptures, find new ways of entertaining with balloons or you want to make the leap to full-time balloon twisting, Twist & Shout has all you'll need to make your balloon dreams come true.
Twist & Shout features educational classes on all aspects of Balloon Art including: Sculpture Designs, Entertaining with Balloons, Balloon Art, the Business of Ballooning and much more. Your registration price includes acces to all Vendors, Jams, Jam Room, a Thursday night welcome reception as well as a Saturday evening Banquet and Awards Ceremony and continental breakfast on Sunday morning. All featured classes are "pay as you go" $5 each, paid directly to the instructor.

The Film Festival Returns
to Twist and Shout!!
Many of you remember "Todd and Don's Twisted Film Festival" at Twist and Shout some years ago. Well, after a bit of retooling, the film festival concept is BACK in 2012!
The film festival has a new name, a new sponsor and a new concept behind it. The "Cinema 260 Film Festival" is scheduled to take place on Thursday, February 2nd, from 10:00 PM till midnight, after opening ceremonies take place. And, as you can guess, it's being presented by your friends at AeraDeco Video!
Entries can be submitted in one of three different genre categories:
Clip segment - One (1) minute or less
Short segment - Five (5) minutes or less
Full Length Feature segment - Fifteen (15) minutes or less
Recognitions will be awarded in the following categories:
Best of Show Best Direction Best Overall Acting
Best Use of Editing Best Use of Lighting Best Use of Sound
Best Use of a Balloon in a Film Best Overall Balloon Sculpture in a Film
Viewers' Choice Award
Prizes include: Best of Show - $250 credit with AeraDeco Video
Viewer's Choice - $150 credit with AeraDeco Video
All competitors will receive a credit for a free DVD through AeraDeco Video just for entering!

* On February 1, 2012 Ralph Dewey will be hosting a Twister Think Tank at the Twist and Shout Convention. It is a round table meeting to share new balloon designs, twists, techniques and ideas. The hours will be from 9AM to 3PM. There will be only 12 openings for top twisters and it will be by invitation only. Each participant is required to share two new ideas. Anyone wishing to be considered should contact Ralph Dewey by email. balloonz@flash.net.
* On February 1, 2012 Ralph Dewey will be hosting a meeting of the Kingdom Twisters from 4PM to 6PM at the Twist and Shout Convention. Anyone interested in sharing their balloon ideas or interested in learning ministry balloon ideas is welcome to attend. There is no fee. Back by popular Demand: "THE JAM ROOM"
A 23-hour-a-day (room will close for during T&S evening events) filled with balloons for you to play with provided by Pioneer Balloon Company and Betallic Balloons.
The Balloon Competitions are a favorite of Twist & Shout Attendees. As usual, We will bring back the categories of Small Medium and Large Artistic Figures as well as the Stage Entertainment Competition.
Twist & Shout will also be offering Day Rates for those who cannot attend the entire Twist & Shout Convention (day rate prices to be announced at a later time)
