Since 2000, Twist & Shout has been a constant source for the best in balloon education, friendship, competition and innovation. This annual convention showcases the most talented twisters in the world, and continues to set the standard for all other Balloon Events. Twist & Shout has stood the test of time and will continue it's tradition of hosting the best of the best in Art, Entertainment and Fraternity among Twisters of all levels and abilities!

The Best Balloon Entertainer, Artist and Twister's Convention is coming back to St. Louis Missouri!! This is your chance to meet your "Balloon Heroes", legends in the industry, up-and-coming new talent, and of course see all your twisting friends from around the world. Twist & Shout is the only place to find all the best instructors in one place and focusing only on balloons. Here you'll also find the best convention attendees, friendly, helpful, always willing to jam and teach each other. We offer you access to Balloon manufacturers' Representatives who have samples you can play with and who are willing to answer questions as well as balloon supply vendors carrying all the latest products from aprons to videos, pumps to balloon clothing.
Whether you want to learn new twists and sculptures, find new ways of entertaining with balloons or you want to make the leap to full-time balloon twisting, Twist & Shout has all you'll need to make your balloon dreams come true.
Twist & Shout features educational classes on all aspects of Balloon Art including: Sculpture Designs, Entertaining with Balloons, Balloon Art, the Business of Ballooning and much more. Your registration price includes access to all Vendors, Jams, Jam Room, a Thursday night welcome reception as well as a Saturday evening Banquet and Awards Ceremony and continental breakfast on Sunday morning. All featured classes are "pay as you go" $5 each, paid directly to the instructor.

Is still Accepting Instructor Applications!
Here's what you need to know if you'd like to be considered as an instructor at Twist & Shout 2013:
1. You must be an expert in the field of Balloon Twisting, Entertainment or Sculpture. We do not need instructors in the fields of decor at this time.
2. Email us at Patty@BalloonDesigns.com on or before May 31, 2012, with your interest in being considered.
3. Be willing to commit to the following criteria:
* Must be available to be in attendance at the Twist & Shout Convention from Wednesday
January 30th, through Saturday, Feb 4th.
* Must be working in the balloon industry for at least five (5) or more years
(with preference given to those that earn a full-time living as a balloon artist)
4. Submit the following information:
A. Short bio of your career, including industry related accomplishments, awards, etc
B. Head shot photo
C. As many as three (3) possible class suggestions. Feel free to submit any
related support materials such as photos, sketches, etc, to support your proposals.
D. If interested, submit one (1) possible Master Class suggestion. Again, feel free to
submit any related support materials to support your proposal
HERE ARE A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER:
1. There are currently only ten (10) teaching spots available at T&S 2013
2. Priority is given to those individuals who meet some or all of the following criteria:
* Have the full support of a sponsor, whether it be manufacturer, wholesaler or
industry retailer.
* Have won industry related awards, particularly those awarded at conventions and live competitions as opposed to photo submission contests.
* Have supported Twist & Shout in the past, either as an attendee,
previous instructor or vendor.
3. If you are chosen to teach at Twist & Shout, you will receive 1 free registration, Room for 4 nights at the host hotel, airfare/travel fee of up to $350, all proceeds of your standard T&S classes.
4. The Twist & Shout Producers have final say over all instructor choices, and those decisions are final.
